Shelby Sherritt is an Australian ceramic artist, educator and creative entrepreneur, best known as the founder of The Pottage, a pottery studio and workshop space dedicated to making ceramics more accessible. Based in the Bridge Mall, Shelby has built a strong online community by sharing the realities of working as a full time potter, from the creative highs of wheel throwing to the challenges of running a small arts business.

Shelby is passionate about the Ballarat community and the role creativity can play in bringing people together. She is using this opportunity to raise funds and awareness for programs that support people across Ballarat who are doing it tough.

For Shelby, stepping onto the dance floor is about pushing outside her comfort zone. From spinning on the pottery wheel to spinning on the dance floor, all while giving back to the community that has supported her creative journey.
